This looks like another race set to be dominated by the Americans as it is run on the dirt track. This year’s race looks like it could well be a competitive affair with several of the runners seemingly holding decent chances, namely Ballydoyle's Mastercraftsman who has been installed favourite.

Aiden O'Brien hedged his bets with Mastercraftsman before eventually entering him into the Breeders Cup Dirt Mile. The three year old has six wins to his name but found Sea the Start too good on three occassions over the summer. He'll take his chances here on the dirt against a very strong looking American line-up, including last years Breeders Cup Juvenile winner Midshipman. The three-year old has since swapped stables and now runs for Godolphin based out of the States and has obvious claims here.
