The Breeders Cup Filly and Mare race is the latest of the original seven to be a grade one event on the Breeders Cup card with its first race run in 1999. It is a race for three year old and up fillies and mares run on the turf track over 10 furlongs. European fillies head to Santa Anita with good chances this year with the likes of Dual Oaks winner Sariska a possible runner. Dar Re Mi lead the ante post betting after she had a decent run at the Arc De Triomphe recently but connections have decided to run her in the Breeders Cup Turf.
